Dr. Matthew Varner began his health career in 2007 after completing the School of Clinical Massage Therapy at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He developed an interest in rehabilitative soft tissue therapy while continuing his education receiving training in fascial release techniques and neuromuscular therapy. Shortly after obtaining his National Certification in Massage Therapy (NCTMB), Dr. Varner began working for The Institute for Orthopedics and Chiropractic as a chiropractic assistant and massage therapist.
After much experience and guidance working his first two years at IOC, he also received much training in the Gonstead system attending local Gonstead clubs and traveling to Mount Horeb, WI completing the Gonstead Methodology Institute’s training program. He graduated in 2015 with a BS in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He then joined the Institute for Orthopedics & Chiropractic’s team of chiropractors.
Dr. Varner is an avid musician, artist and runner. He is married and lives in Cape Coral, FL. He is in good standing with the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) and the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
